"Decent course, but a bit frustrating at times"
I did the online course with SJA and it was okay overall. Some sections were easy to understand and straightforward, so that was good. But a few of the videos took ages to load, and the layout felt a bit clunky, which got annoying after a while. I finished it in the end, but it definitely could’ve been a smoother experience

The SJA staff at the event were easy to spot and seemed professional enough. one of them was helpful when I asked a question, but overall they came across a bit distant and not super approachable. Nothing bad happened or anything, it was just a average experience.

The trainer was really good and definitely knew what they were talking about. The only thing is that it felt a bit rushed at times

"Friendly instructor made the session easier"
The instructor was really friendly and did a good job keeping everyone involved. They explained everything in a simple way and answered questions without making anyone feel awkward, which I appreciated. I expected the day to be boring, but it was much easier to get through than I thought. Did anyone else go in expecting it to drag and end up feeling the same way?

The training moved at a really good pace. It didn’t feel rushed, but it also didn’t drag on forever. I had enough time to ask questions and actually keep up, which I appreciated. that’s how training should be done—clear, fair, and respectful of people’s time.

Overall, I thought it was good, but some sections didn’t really feel relevant to what I needed. I’m usually careful about spending time on stuff that might not be useful, so those parts made me a little hesitant. Still, there were enough helpful bits to make it worthwhile.

I ordered some bandages and a small first aid kit from sja.org.uk and it all turned up fine. The quality seems decent and everything was packed well and easy to use. It probably is not the cheapest option but I would buy from them again for the office.

I ordered some first aid kit bits from sja.org.uk and, yeah, it was mostly okay. The quality seems decent enough, but a couple of the items did feel a bit cheap-ish for what I paid. It will do the job, which is the main thing, just not something I’d be super excited about or anything

"Post-course support didn’t meet my standards"
The course itself was okay, but once it ended, the support really fell short for me. I personally expect at least clear and proper replies when I follow up with questions, but I barely got anything useful back...

The payment went through on the first try, which was nice because I was kind of expecting some random error like usual. Confirmation showed up quickly too. It felt easy overall, even though I still don’t fully trust online checkout stuff half the time. No real issues on my end.

"Certificate took way too long to get sorted"
The course itself was fine and the trainer did a decent job, but the certificate side of things was a bit of a headache. I’ve done similar courses before where the certificate just appeared in my account a day or two later, so I wasn’t expecting to have to chase it up several times.
When it finally came through, my name had a spelling mistake on it, which meant more emails back and forth. It wasn’t a disaster, but for something you’re paying for, the whole process felt messier than it needed to be.

The course did what I needed it to do, and booking it was straightforward. The training itself was fine, but for what it cost, I expected either a bit more time or better materials. It wasn’t bad, but the value didn’t totally add up for me. Also, the pricing compared to what you actually get felt a little off — that part was weird...

I had to cancel my booking and expected the refund process to take a while or involve some back and forth, but it was sorted really quickly. The money came through sooner than I thought, with no hassle at all

and overall, I had a good experience. The emails were clear and easy to follow, but the replies did take a bit longer than I expected sometimes.

We spent a lot of time watching and talking things through, but I really needed more hands-on practice to feel like I knew what I was doing. For first aid, I expected to leave feeling ready, not still unsure about the practical bits.
